Satan Has Served Dozens Of Years

The devil and his army did indeed have requested waivers to God Almighty, so that later the demise not taken too fast by him. Well, the story of how Satan can age suspended till the end of life, starting from the existence of bangs jin in the days of yore.

In the past, when the first humans has not yet been created by Allah, Satan has lived for thousands of years with a bunch of the jin. Among Jinn there are very obedient to God Almighty, for 1000 years. He named the IZZAZIL. Because of his loyalty, ultimately this was Izzazil degrees of Almighty God, to the second heaven.

In the new heavens, he also still obedient up to 1000 years. God Almighty has lifted them to the third heaven, and so on up to the seventh heaven.

Jealousy Izzazil

When I was in seventh heaven or sky, the Izzazil still loyal and obedient to God Almighty. But changes began to happen to Izzazil, when the Almighty God, the first created man. The new creature created of God Almighty, which was given the name ADAM.

The thing is, God Almighty, ordered Izzazil to sujug to Adam, but Izzazil refused. Even Izzazil also do not agree at all if Adam would become Caliph on Earth by Allah SWT.

If all the Jinn (including Angel) obedience to the commands of Allah SWT, unlike with Izzazil. He disputed the command of Allah SWT, because it felt he was more noble than Adam. His worship has been tested in the presence of Almighty God, for tens of thousands of years, while Adam is only the newly created creatures.

God Almighty, said,

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ

Meaning:

and (remember) when we said to the Angels: "Bow [1] you to Adam," then she fell on them except the devil; He was reluctant and arrogant and is he a kafir people. "

Explanation of the verse:

[1] Bowed here means honoring and glorifying Adam, is not a means of self serve, because the prostration prostration enslave yourself it is just solely to God.

Because of this disobedience then Izzazil known in the Qur'an as the DEVIL. It is unfortunate that Izzazil already worship for tens of thousand years, there is no meaning of worship at all, he would accept it because it denied the order annihilated God Almighty, that once that's all.
